Responsibility
As a Banquet Server at Ceruti's Catering, you will enjoy a part-time, flexible schedule that allows you to choose the weekdays you prefer to work. In your role as a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the success of our events. This includes setting up rooms according to specific instructions, serving plated meals, assisting at buffet lines, and clearing tables after events. You will be part of a team that caters to weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, company picnics, non-profit events, social gatherings, family reunions, and parties, all while creating memorable experiences for our guests. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will be essential in ensuring that each event runs smoothly and that guests have a wonderful experience. The position requires physical stamina, as you will be walking and standing for extended periods and may need to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally. You will be provided with a black Ceruti's polo shirt or tuxedo shirt and bowtie, along with guidelines for appropriate black pants or shorts and non-slip shoes. Set up the room following written instructions, diagrams, and direction from the Event Supervisor. Assist with décor, moving tables and chairs, and setting up equipment. Put out glassware, china dinnerware, polished silverware, and linens. Serve plated or buffet-style food, providing outstanding customer service to guests. Remove tableware as guests finish their meals. Vacuum, dust, clean glass, and reset the room following the event

Compensation starts at $14.00 per hour, with a review after 60 days that includes the potential for a $1 per hour increase, along with opportunities for merit advancement.
