Have 3+ years of working full-time as a software engineer with in-depth experience in backend technologies. Have opinions but are not ideological tied to specific technologies, open to challenges and learning new things as you go. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills: empathy, listening, teamwork, and a great sense of responsibility. Prior experience as DevOps is huge plus!

Responsibility

As a backend engineer joining the founding team, you will get complete autonomy to shape a product that will impact millions of users. You will play a critical role in building the culture at Chronicle. You'll write code that will impact millions of presentation makers/viewers across the globe. Lead the build and management of the backend infrastructure for the platform including potential integrations in the future. Leverage existing open source frameworks and write high quality code to build custom software where required. Support the implementation of the platform's data strategy. Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, designers and engineers. Contribute to a maintainable, high quality, and performant codebase. Effectively communicate your technical solutions and product ideas with the team. Mentor other engineering team members. Contribute in the product process: thinking through UX, brainstorming features, connecting with customers to solve their problems and guiding decisions based on your knowledge of the codebase. Take full ownership of the product starting from architectural decisions to shipping and testing. You'll grow with the company — whether as a product leader, an engineering manager, or an individual contributor, we'll invest in you
