YOU MUST HAVE AN ARF CERTIFICATION. At least 21 years of age. Administrator must be certified with completion of course and certificate from Community Care Licensing/Sacramento. Need to posses a GED or high school diploma. Must complete 4 hours of HIV/Aids and TB training every 2 years, and current CPR and First Aid. Must have or be eligible for criminal clearance. Have a minimum of 2-year prior experience providing direct supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities, in a service level 4 home as an administrator. Should maintain a valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance. Must be PART, CPI, or MAP certified. Must have Person Centered Planning (PCP) background or be willing to take course. Must represent the Organization as liaison between the community, other social or professional services, Regional Center Services, Licensing, and other related resources or professional personnel. Ability to direct the work of others, when applicable. Ability to design an interdisciplinary process of assessment of consumers’ strength and needs. Responsibility
Knowledge of the requirements for providing the type of care and supervision needed by clients, including ability to communicate with clients. Ability to establish and implement the facilities policy, program and budget. Responsible for adhering to the established personnel policies and associated state regulations and laws. Responsible for designing the IPP individual Program Plan for each consumer, along with ID team. Knowledgeable of the needs of persons with developmental disabilities. Maintain educational training in specific areas to conduct in service training. Must participate in training dealing with administration and management of residential facility and direct support professional. Knowledge of consumer and employee grievance procedures. Responsibility to organize, manage, and be responsible for the operation of each facility you are assigned. Responsible for coordinating the day–to-day functions of the adult facility, including nutritional program, educational, maintenance program, staff scheduling and related duties. Responsible for the maintenance of all necessary employee and client records and documents. The filing of required reports and the charting of necessary clients data in accordance with clients’ IPP. Report clients’ exits and new employees to CCL and Regional Center. Responsibility to participate in the recruitment, training and evaluation of qualified staff and to terminate employment of undesirable staff. Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a staff training plan to ensure staff is able to pass the test for direct support professional or complete the 70 hour training program. Responsible for establishing regular meetings with the specialized services personnel to evaluate the progress of the consumers and make the necessary modifications and reports as recommended. Responsible for coordinating the implementation of the specialized service programs in conjunction with the appropriate and professional resources. The administrators will meet regularly in regards to the operation status, program, and needs of the facilities functions and program. Maintenance or supervise the maintenance of financial and other records. Make sure medication and cleaning supplies are properly stored and locked. Administrator will conduct in-service training on TB and HIV/Aids. Keep in-service records updated with topics, speaker’s signatures, certificate, and dates. Responsible for resolving neighborhood complaints. Responsible for interfacing with CCL, Regional Center, Social Services and Health Dept. etc. Responsible for consumers screening, research background, to assure appropriate placement, and to make sure that we can met their needs. Responsible for documenting and notification of current TB test on consumers and staff; along with making sure staff maintain current CPR and training certificate. Responsible for staff in-service on site or outside in a facility with other agency
