Administrator in The Dalles, OR Available June 1, 2025 Are you a compassionate and experienced leader looking to make a meaningful impact in long-term care? We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Home Administrator to join Veterans Care Centers of Oregon, a not-for-profit organization that manages Oregon’s state Veterans homes. This position oversees daily operations, ensures compliance, and fosters a supportive environment for residents and staff at a 151 bed Veterans Home located in The Dalles, Oregon in the beautiful Columbia Gorge. This facility is a Medicare/Medicaid/VA Accredited licensed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and the first Malcom Baldrige Gold award winning Veterans home in the country (2014). This position will initially work with the existing admin during a 6-month transition/training period then, upon Board Approval, will become the facility Administrator/CEO. A Strong Candidate will: - Possess a current Nursing Home Administrator License in good standing in Oregon. - Be good with people and clearly demonstrate leadership abilities. - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Have thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to skilled Nursing Facilities. - 3+ years’ experience as an Administrator in the long-term care industry. - Familiarity using the Point Click Care EMR system.
