Responsibility

To perform responsible, administrative functions in support of an organizational unit. Responsible for in-house mail operations;. Timekeeping and other personnel matters;. Monitor and oversee maintenance of high demand network copier/scanner/printers and other office equipment;. Facilitate employee travel and/or training;. Monitor and control office supply and purchased or leased equipment inventories;. Procurement of goods and services through P-card transactions;. Property Manager and agency liaison with Louisiana Property Assistance Agency (LPAA) for property control compliance;. Safety Manager, assisting in safety program compliance and office safety procedures;. Records and information management coordinator for administrative support unit and executive offices; and support of office-wide records management initiatives

The Division of Administration/Office of Risk Management has a vacancy. This job title has an assigned pay grade of AS-614. Job Focus Areas The Admin Program Specialist B is a challenging professional position that requires experience and knowledge of various administrative responsibilities, systems and procedures. The desired candidate will have both written and verbal communication skills; be able to plan and prioritize work activities, and resolve problems. The ideal applicant is also well-organized and has very good time management skills.
