Responsibility
Will train on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am-4:30pm or 9am – 5pm. Then work from 9/26 - 10/14, and may even be asked to stay longer if needed. This position works with Clergy and administrative staff to support the church ministries and operations which includes implementing communication strategies to church and community audiences through website, email, social media, graphics, and print media. This position reports to the Church Administrator with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Associate Pastor where focus is on Communication Coordination. Provide administrative support to pastoral and music staff, church administrator, and to church committees, as needed. Manage the Constant Contact church mailing list and compose special alerts. Manage Sundry Office supplies, inventory, and place orders with multiple vendors. Manage inventory of candles used for various services. Compile and print annual Charge Conference book/report. Organize weekly prayer concerns and print weekly prayer list. Assist with managing the integrity and maintenance of the ACS database. Assist with maintenance and updates in Facility Scheduler. Export lists. Create a variety of reports using ACS operating system. Generate labels for mailings and folders. Maintain files as necessary for position. Trouble-shoot IT issues and office equipment difficulties. Provide general office support including coverage of front desk/window and answering phones, etc. Follow all policies and procedures as set by pastoral staff and Staff Parish Relations Committee. Share responsibility for opening/closing church safe. Other related duties as assigned
