Job Overview We are seeking an experienced ActiveMQ Admin to oversee the administration and management of ActiveMQ servers, including the setup of high availability (HA) configurations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in ActiveMQ, experience in performance tuning for stability and reliability, and a solid understanding of executing HA plans in production environments. This role will also involve assisting with roadmap strategies on upgrades and migration to Artemis. Responsibilities Administer and manage ActiveMQ servers, ensuring optimal performance and stability. Set up and configure high availability (HA) for ActiveMQ platforms. Execute HA plans, including managing application infrastructure build and configuration. Conduct performance tuning of ActiveMQ for enhanced stability and reliability. Provide practical, hands-on support in a high-volume production environment. Assist in developing and executing a roadmap strategy for platform upgrades and migration to Artemis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of ActiveMQ services. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing clear updates and recommendations. Primary Skills Proven experience with ActiveMQ administration. Expertise in setting up and managing HA configurations for ActiveMQ. Strong experience in performance tuning and stability enhancement for ActiveMQ. Practical, real-world experience using ActiveMQ in high-volume production environments. Experience with JMS (Java Message Service) and related technologies. Secondary Skills Experience with Artemis and migration strategies. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Qualifications Solid experience in ActiveMQ server administration. Expertise in high availability configurations and performance tuning. Experience in executing HA plans in production environments.
