Job Description
Description
The Sales Representative will join a team that sells office technology equipment (large scanners, printers, copiers, MFT machines) to local clients in Austin. The Sales Rep will be given a geographical territory within the Austin area that they are responsible for capitalizing on through business development, research, cold calling, creating relationships etc. Through these relationships, they will sell large copiers, printers, scanners etc. to other companies and corporations. This opportunity is open to entry-level candidates or candidates who have some sales or account management experience. The company and team culture are founded upon giving and receiving feedback to develop professionally through daily team training. There is room for growth financially and professionally with a lucrative commission structure and opportunity for leadership in the next few coming years. Classic or standard sales requirements for presentation are important such as being clean-shaven and wearing business professional attire. Commission Structure: (Standard sales role in which most of their money comes from commission) • 50% commission off of gross profit per individual sale • Manufacturer bonuses per sale that range from $500-$2,000 • Residual commission upon lease renewals (all sales are typically leases, and clients will regularly choose to renew their lease to keep the printer/copier/scanner) -- 50% commission off of profit on these too • For example, Smart Office may purchase copiers from the manufacturer for $5K a piece. You sell one for $10K for a 2 year lease • In this example, the company made $5K in profit. You get 50% commission off of profit. You made $2,500 in commission • Let's say the manufacturer bonus was $1,000 from this sale as well. • At the end of this 2 year lease, the client renews for another $6K lease. That is pure profit for Smart Office since they already own the printer. You make 50% commission off of that, and you made another $3K. • You made $6,500 off of this one example sale.
