Responsibility

Account Coordinators provide critical client service and administrative support to account teams. They assist in the day-to-day administration of communication initiatives on behalf of the agency and its clients. This includes maintaining a high level of awareness with client activities, detail-oriented program and project management and professional communication with key client contacts as needed. The AC position is a supporting role, but encourages growth and creativity on a daily basis and holds great potential for moving up within the agency. Ultimately, an outstanding AC should be able to build relationships with the media, their team members, clients and vendors, while supporting the team in execution of the strategic PR plan for the client(s) they are assigned to work on. This will be a hybrid role that requires the employee to be within a commutable distance from our main locations:. Conduct research on clients, prospects, and industry to build knowledge base and offer insights to teams; develop and maintain working level understanding of clients and industry, their company cultures, products/servies and strategic communications plans. Monitor media to create informative reports on coverage and conversations relevant to clients. Learn and excel at media tools (e.g., Muck Rack, Business Wire, Canva, iStock, etc.). Build and maintain media lists. Prepare client-facing communications (e.g., reporter backgrounders, coverage reports, etc.). Listen and actively contribute to meetings and projects. Assist team with client and agency projects. Maintain client accounts. Help manage account budgets. Prepare account service related documents (e.g. meeting agendas and recaps, proposals, other client communications and correspondence). Create and/or provide feedback and maintain project estimates and trackers. Manage time to hours allocated; record time daily in Harvest. Alert account leads to challenges or obstacles. Work is closely-supervised with work product reviewed before delivery to client. Works according to H+C Operating Principles in all interactions. Represent the agency responsibly to H+C clients and new business prospects, proactively communicating with clients professionally, efficiently. Attend tot he needs of the client(s) and continually seek ways to add value to the client-agency relationship
