As a Phillips 66 Procurement University New Hire you will join our Early Career Program, a gateway to the dynamic world of Procurement and the experiences you need to build a career from the ground up. • Master the Basics: Gain an understanding of procurement processes and functions used across the company, support day to day operations and ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services to meet business needs and participate in the sourcing of materials and services and supplier selection. • Hone Your Skills: Learn to understand, create, and negotiate contract language that establishes the commercial and legal relationship between Phillips 66 and its counterparties by developing appropriate agreements, obtaining necessary contract approvals, ensuring terms of the contract are executed, and managing interactions with suppliers. • Analyze and Innovate: Generate, extract, and analyze data to provide insight into the market and our businesses’ spending patterns while effectively supporting business objectives by performing cost modeling, leveraging strategic relationships, and engaging in robust business planning. Job assignments are likely to be located in Houston, TX or Bartlesville, OK, however, there may be opportunities at a variety of our site locations in Linden, NJ; Lake Charles, LA; Roxana, IL; Ferndale, WA; Billings, MT; Rodeo, CA; Borger, TX; Ponca City, OK; Los Angeles, CA; Sweeny, TX; or Long Beach, CA.
